Free Health Seminars

The end of November may mark the end of Diabetes awareness month but
the health care challenge it represents will likely affect us for generations to come.

Type 2 Diabetes represents a health care tidal wave for which we may not yet be prepared. Diabetes posed a $12.2 billion financial burden on our health care system last year and is projected to increase to $17 billion by 2020.

Deteriorating diet, decreasing physical activity, and strong family history/genetics all contribute to a diabetes epidemic that shows no sign of slowing down.  In Windsor, we need to prepare ourselves by being informed about the disease and about the services available.
