4 Great Programs for those 55+ yrs

Our very own Teresa Ashworth has put together 4 great programs for those 55+.

Shred & Tread which is great for those who have never been on the treadmill to those who are looking to have more variety in their treadmill workout.

Stand Strong is a program focused on improving your health and wellbeing.

Group Cycling & Strength Training is a low-impact cycling class.

Strength Training will improve your posture, balance and the ability to carry out your daily activities.

If you are interested in learning more about these great programs, please stop by the front desk for an information package.

Yoga for a special population with Coco

We’ve had such a positive response to our Yoga for Special Girls, that we’re expanding the program in January. Starting on the 12th, we will continue to offer our Yoga for Special Girls at 11:15 on Saturdays AND we are adding an additional program for boys at 3:00PM.

A unique practice of Yoga for girls and boys who have Down Syndrome.  Participants will develop Balance,  Strength and Flexibility as well as Relaxation and Deep Breathing Techniques.  We invite girls and boys with Down Syndrome who are 12 years of age and older to come out and see the benefits that Yoga can have on their well being.  Caregivers are encouraged to attend.  This program will run on Saturdays with the girls in the morning at 11:15 and the boys at 3:00 in the afternoon.  The cost for this 6 Week program is only $72+hst. 

This is one our newest programs and was developped by Nicole Daigneault (Coco) who also teaches a range of classes for members throughout the week.  Coco has a passion for all things Yoga and enjoys sharing her passion with a diverse group of people.  Look out for her interview in the Windsor Star later this week.
